Construction of Gravel Pump is of single casing connected by means of clamp bands and wide wet passage. The wet parts are made of Ni hard and high chromium abrasion-resistance alloys. The discharge direction of punp can be oriented in any direction of 360 degree. Main parts
1. Support frame: main part for supporting flow parts, connect with bearing glands on the two sides to form bearing assembly.
2. Pump casing: connect with support frame by 6 bolts, can rotate in 60°gap according to needs, impeller, protecting plate, pump cover installed inside, material is abrasion resistant, the impeller, pump casing and pump cover of this pump are same as 6PNL-35 vertical mud sand pump.
3. There are two kinds of pump covers: flat pump cover and long pump cover with flange
4. Shaft seal box: installed outside of protecting plate, seal assembly installed in it, it joints shaft sleeve, lubricating it with grease trough grease fitting to prolong lifetime.
5. Shaft sleeve: installed at the back of impeller , can compress tightly by impeller rotation.
6. Water retaining plate: installed in front of the front bearing plate, compressed with a screw so that it can rotate with pump shaft in same speed and direction, and form labyrinth seal with front bearing gland to prevent the liquid spilling from shaft sleeve from damaging bearing.
7. Support frame oil injection hole: one oil fitting on each side of support frame for lubricating the bearing.
8. Pump rotation direction is clockwise judge from motor side, counter clockwise is prohibited.
9.Impeller: The impeller generally has three vanes or five vanes and wide application range. It is made of wear-resistant high chromium alloy cast iron (hardness>58HRC, impact toughness>9j/cm2). The impeller is fixed on the pump shaft with double thread, and the thread tolerances are inspeed according to the pitch diameter of thread. Disassembly rings are installed at the rear of the shaft sleeve to make maintenance easy.
