G type Horizontal Sand Gravel Pump Introduction:
1. Sand pump (dredge pump) is designed as single casing connected by means of clamp bands and wide wet-passage.
2. The wearing parts are made of ultra chromium abrasion-resistance alloys, long service life and very low failure rate.
3.The pumps are designed for continuously transferring strong corrosive big-solid -contained slurry which the
common slurry pump cannot transfer. They are widely used in dredging,sand excavation;mining,
explosive-sludge in metal melting, etc.
4. G series sand gravel pump is often installed on cutter suction dredger or barge.
5. Gravel pump outlet direction can be in any position of 360· This type of pump possesses the advantages
of easy installation and operation, good performance of NPSH and abrasion resistance.
6. The pump have non-clogging wide flow channel and thick volute and high efficiency closed impeller.
Main Features
The unique segmented clamp ring on larger size units and solid on smaller pumps, facilitates casing rotation to any angle, reducing the need for costly high wearing bends. Minimal maintenance is required.
1. Impeller – front and back shroud expulsion vanes reduce gland pressure and intrusion of high concentrations of solids in the gland area. Efficiency is maintained by minimizing suction side recirculation. Specially designed and shaped impeller vanes allow the handling of extraordinarily large particles. The unique casing design and sealing vanes prevent abrasive solids intrusion at the sealing faces.
2. Casing – The large, robust casing has been designed to reduce internal velocities resulting in minimum efficiency loss and improved casing wear life. The casing is made up of three components to reduce maintenance time and costs associated with a one piece design.
The impeller generally has three vanes or five vanes and wide application range.It is made of wear-resistant high chromium alloy cast iron(hardness≥58HRC,impact toughness≥9J/cm2).The impeller is fixed on the pump shaft with double thread,and the thread tolerances are inspected according to the pitch diameter of thread.Disassembly rings are installed at the rear of the shaft sleeve to make maintenance eas
The volute casing is made of wear-resistant and compression-resistant alloy(hardness≥56HRC,impact toughness≥8J/cm2).Advanced smelting technology combined with casting process and heat treatment process guarantees smooth casting surfaces and reliable internal qualiyt.
The bulge test will be carried out after molding,and the test pressure is 2 times of the discharge pressure of the pump.If there no leakage after 20 minutes,strength and tightness,strength and tightness pressure test reports can be issued.
The liner plates are made of wear-resistant high chromium alloy cast iron(hardness≥56HRC,impact toughness≥8J/cm2).
